In this period I was very struck by the story of the girl who killed her children after giving birth to them. I am a mother and this is an important part of my life, so when I gave free rein to my thoughts this work was born, a little different from the previous ones, it is cut in half by two colors even if the negative is monochromatic, I worked the same sheet in two different ways, it indicates both violence and depth. Then I created an anthropomorphic being with the drawing on the negative, half woman half animal, because we women are a bit animals and because some women are monsters unfortunately. Finally I inserted a child into the mother’s womb, but a child who comes and goes, who can be there and not be there, because children are never ours and because some women tear them away and do not deserve them. This piece honors motherhood and reveals it, but also denounces the monstrosity of those who kill their own children. Long live mothers and creation!
